L'Amour des hommes

Present-day Tunis. Amel is a 25-year old photographer. Her happy life is devastated when her husband is killed in an accident. Her father-in-law offers a helping hand. Encouraged by him, she starts taking pictures of men from the streets. Without fearing to be scandalous, she makes the choice to look at men the way men look at women. Is it possible that the loss of someone much loved becomes a liberation in the end? In a conservative Muslim society, how can one live one's desires without becoming marginalized?
