Černý hadice

This film is probably the most typical example of Hora's combination of film with art happening. The main prop in the performance piece is a hose, which is used as a unique object and as a distinctive visual motif. Hora explores the artistic qualities of objects and materials in what is essentially a material performance involving objects, paint, and canvas – all of it recorded by a quick and nervous camera using short shots of just a few frames each.
