inglés Lehár, Lamač, von Cziffra, Eggerth, Söhnker, Switzerland, Germany, and Hungary. This is what a movie is supposed to be. The real Europe of the 1930s forever and never otherwise. The rare interplay, coincidence, and mutual experience formed the solid pillars of this film, which I commemorated on the famous 100th anniversary of Mártha Eggerth's birth. It is no wonder then that the spectacular musical Where the Lark Sings is full of Martha's beautiful singing solos, Hans' mischief, and comedy in true Lamač style. The environment is a country restaurant and the adjacent surroundings, and the swimming pool contrasts with the nearby concert hall. Simple country life is replaced by the elite and their special manners, and there’s also love and fast cars. ()
