I never really watched this fairytale when it was on TV, so I don't have much of a connection to it, but I had to watch it all once. Lad's scenery is simply beautiful and gives the film its magical charm. It's definitely not a fairytale for everyone, and I think there will be a lot of people who won't like it much. Personally, I belong to those who don't like it much, but at least the visual concept is great.

One of my favourite fairytales. Great actors in an untraditionally conceived story that never disappoints.
