I get the feeling that at the beginning of his career Garry Marshall was even more critical and was able to see the worst in people. This has completely disappeared from his recent films. Even The Flamingo Kid is a film with an insanely positive message, where values like family are paramount, but it's not as bad as other films Garry Marshall has made in the new millennium. ()
