Why Are We Creative?

As part of a personal quest, for over 30 years director Hermann Vaske asked the world's most famous personalities the same question: "Why are you creative?" His subjects included: David Bowie, Ai Weiwei, Björk, Wim Wenders, Philippe Stark, Yoko Ono, David Lynch, Nobuyoshi Araki, Quentin Tarantino, Bono, Nick Cave, Stephen Hawking, the Dalai Lama, Marina Abramović, Vivienne Westwood, Takeshi Kitano and many others. “Einstein wanted to know why God created the world, I wanted to know why people are creative.
