A bit of a failure in my opinion. The fact that the film takes place in some sort of secret temple at the north of Australia doesn’t make it into a film with a good camera. This is not helped at all by the locals turning this temple into a pseudo-café when no one talks much, while the significant dramatic events in the lives of one improbable family also take place mostly in silence. The film is about music only on the surface, and it doesn’t work as a drama either. It consists of two hours of illogical shots from a place you previously had no idea that it could be found in Australia.
