La historia de El caso Fritz Bauer sucede en la Alemania de 1957. Tras el final del nazismo y la II Guerra Mundial, el fiscal general Fritz Bauer (Burghart Klaußner) se lanza a buscar y condenar a los responsables de los crímenes nazis. Para ello, tiene que luchar contra los jueces que prefieren dejar atrás el pasado. Todo cambia cuando consigue dar con el paradero de Adolf Eichmann (Michael Schenk), uno de los mayores criminales de guerra nazis. Muchas serán las personas de dentro de la política alemana que no dejarán a Fritz Bauer cumplir con su objetivo. (Caramel Films Esp.)

Fritz Bauer was way too intense. I know he meant well and wanted to take revenge on the monsters of what was then Germany. But somehow, he intruded into the work of Mossad and he didn’t quite understand that there are more important things and people in life than him. It could have been an interesting film, but Fritz’s story is bit too forced and superfluous. The movies which show Adolf Eichmann with all his mind processes are far more interesting. Compared to this, the story of Fritz Bauer is quite boring.
