Besa - Season 2

The second season didn't quite measure up to the first one for me, and you can see that reflected in my ratings hovering at an average of four stars. However, I decided to bump it up to a weak five because Besa holds a special place in my heart. The Serbs had a unique approach, leaving viewers guessing which significant character might suddenly exit the story. Because let's face it, Balkan people don't mess around. My slightly diminished satisfaction mostly stemmed from the main villain's less frequent appearances, though thankfully this improved in the second half. I'm crossing my fingers for a third season because Besa is precisely the kind of series that resonates with me. / Lesson learned: Sometimes, children need a firm hand. Unfortunately. 5*- (24.03.2024)
