The most exciting physics lecture of all time. A nuclear split between superb acting and clean editing. The speech about lies that owe a debt to the truth is a screenwriting pearl that appears only once a season. ()
Jared Harris's impressive analysis of a nuclear reactor is an exemplary performance that delivers more action than a blockbuster action thriller. ()
In the final episode, two things caught my attention the most. 1) I really liked the reconstruction of the possible events before the actual explosion; it was done excellently and I really enjoyed it. 2) Comrade Legasov impressed me; thanks to his detailed explanation, I also understood how the nuclear reactor works and the reason for the RBMK reactor explosion.
