Un verano radiante en la Riviera francesa. With every subsequent film I see from him, Otto Preminger proves to me what a great director he was and how excellently he mastered his craft, able to shoot each scene so that it made sense and was engaging. It has something of the Lolita feel to it, but this story is much more about the destruction we can cause, not to ourselves, but to others.
