At the beginning, there was André the bad horse, and Pic Pic the magic pig. One day while studying at La Cambre, Stéphane Aubier met Vincent Patar (or the other way round), a meeting that was to be the starting-point of a long adventure and a friendship lasting over thirty years. Des Cowboys et des Indiens, le cinéma de Patar and Aubier tells the story not only of Stéphane and Vincent but also the team around the duo, a team that has created a brand and a unique style of humour. Fabrice du Welz has painted an intimate portrait of the duo and chronicled their cinema career, from A Town Called Panic to Ernest and Celestine. (Strasbourg European Fantastic Film Festival)
