En las montañas de Monterrey, una joven pandilla que se hace llamar Los Terkos pasa los días escuchando cumbia rebajada y asistiendo a bailes en los barrios cercanos. Después de un malentendido con los encargados de un punto de venta local, su líder, Ulises, de 17 años, se ve forzado a migrar a Jackson Heights, Queens, en Nueva York, donde intenta adaptarse sin sacrificar su identidad. About life in Mexico and how important music is in the life of each of us, and that it can also heal the soul in an environment that is bit too rough, which the non-actors in the film at least suspect. Well, the camera is kind of superfluous in all this, and it watches everything that’s happening from a slight distance as a silent observer.
