I’m rather fond of Polish cinema, so I was looking forward to the series, but I had no idea what I was in for. The creators were switching between the two time-planes (it's really trendy now) perhaps too often, making me confused at times, and most of the characters behaved in a very odd way. Plus, I think an excessive number of issues was brought up including murder, missing persons, rape, anti-Semitism, extortion, embezzlement, etc., etc. Based on this list, you’d expect a breathtaking pace, but the opposite was true. The story progressed at the speed of an injured snail doused in honey and condensed milk, so the two-star rating is as high as it gets.
