Ezequiel (Juan Pablo Cestaro), un joven de 16 años en pleno despertar sexual se encuentra solo en casa mientras sus padres están de viaje. Su deseo le lleva a conocer a Mono (Lautaro Rodríguez), un atractivo skater del que se enamora sin medir las consecuencias. Comienzan rápidamente una relación y la situación se complica inesperadamente. Mono no es lo que parece y, sin quererlo, Ezequiel se verá envuelto en un chantaje del que no podrá salir ileso. Young Hunter is another example Marco Berger's distinctive directorial style, which is all about intimacy, small talk and innuendo. But this is a very disturbing film if you thinks about its story. While The Blonde One and Hawaii were more to my liking, Young Hunter is also a noteworthy film with a compelling premise that could certainly have been handled in a more lively manner if Berger, an expert in slow-burn storytelling, hadn't been sitting in the director's chair. Last but not least, I must highlight the oppressive musical score, which added to the film's unsettling atmosphere.
