Cuando sus padres se van a Europa por un mes, Ezequiel, de 16 años, invita a compañeros de clase a su casa, sólo para descubrir que a ellos no les atraen los chicos. Un día se saca la lotería cuando conoce al chico rudo Mono en la pista de skate. Pero conocerlo implica mucho más que la conexión, la intimidad y el sexo que buscaba. Young Hunter is another example Marco Berger's distinctive directorial style, which is all about intimacy, small talk and innuendo. But this is a very disturbing film if you thinks about its story. While The Blonde One and Hawaii were more to my liking, Young Hunter is also a noteworthy film with a compelling premise that could certainly have been handled in a more lively manner if Berger, an expert in slow-burn storytelling, hadn't been sitting in the director's chair. Last but not least, I must highlight the oppressive musical score, which added to the film's unsettling atmosphere.
