O’Cangaceiro

For my tastes it is an unbearably naive film, which contains some good scenes with good atmosphere (the opening one or the night ambush for example), but otherwise it is no masterpiece. There are few directorial ideas, the main character is not really a hero (in fact I found the jerk extremely unlikable), the music is great. (22.06.2014)
