I must mention the puppetry work and overall special effects, which are once again very good, especially because there is more interaction with humans, which is always more interesting than just interaction between the puppets themselves. Puppet Master 5 isn't an excellent horror, but it does get closer to horror than the previous film, and it manages to create some fairly good and scary scenes at times.
