200 metros es la distancia que hay entre dos localidades palestinas partidas por el muro de separación israelí, el que separa a Mustafa de su esposa e hijos a los que saluda cada noche de balcón a balcón. Una distancia que parece insalvable cuando recibe la noticia de que su hijo está en el hospital. No le quedará más remedio que recurrir a un contrabandista para sortear el muro, en una odisea de pulso urgente, la de un padre coraje que lucha contra las paradojas de la vida en Palestina. Palestinian director Ameen Nayfeh has undeniable filmmaking talent. In my opinion, he managed to portray the moving story of Mustafa and his family as realistically as possible. Unlike some of the reviewers here, I believe that if you are at least a little empathetic towards others, you will be well satisfied with the intensity of emotion that this dramatic movie conveys. The precisely dosed tension and convincing performances are just the icing on the cake. Whenever I see a movie like this, I always wonder why we Czechs are always complaining about something, because compared to other nations, we live charmed lives. (75%)
