Women Do Cry

Tráiler

Sinopsis(1)

Several women from one family are confronted with hardship and trauma which typically stem from the way they are treated by men and, in turn, by the whole of society. Whether it’s a case of having to deal with the stigma of HIV or suicidal thoughts on maternity leave, Vesela Kazakova, together with Mina Mileva and the entire collective, offers an explosive drama as a searing indictment of patriarchal values and their impact on the lives of women in contemporary Bulgaria. español Un drama que pretende ser lacrimógeno sobre cómo todas las mujeres buenas sufren y su sufrimiento es causado únicamente por los hombres malvados. A pesar de la unilateralidad y de la histeria, es un espectáculo pasable, con una química relativamente eficaz entre los miembros centrales de una familia búlgara, respaldada por buenas interpretaciones. inglés A more apt title would be "Women Suffer" because all the female characters in this film really only suffer. Instead of an intense statement about the complicated position of women in Eastern Europe (as complicated it undoubtedly is), it is a screaming hysteria in which there is not a single (at the very least) neutral male character. From a purely cinematic point of view, it's quite watchable, but the one-sided perspective brings the overall result down a lot. 45% [KVIFF 2021] ()
