All the action in Zorro Rides Again (1937) takes place in modern-day Mexico where James Vega (John Carroll), a descendant of the famous masked avenger Zorro, dons the costume of his ancestor. The new Zorro must battle a gang of outlaws trying to wrangle control of the California-Yucatan Railroad. Behind the plot is a greedy financier named Marsden (Noah Beery).
