In the first two acts, the film is a very solid thriller, but suffers from the traditional pain of Hollywood productions: a botched ending. The main villain always has to suffer the most horrible, original, macabre and I don't know what else death, and there is no other way to do it. Maybe some people like it, but I find it boring. But whatever, Michael Douglas is still a great actor and it's nice to see Sean Bean again after a long time.

Don't Say a Word is a brilliant thriller whose greatest strengths are undoubtedly the excellent performances of the main cast: Michael Douglas, Brittany Murphy, Sean Bean. Fast pace, excellent atmosphere, various shots, slow-motion, flashbacks, simply excellent. It's just a shame about the ending.
