inglés I am going to start with what I liked and what probably appealed to me the most about this movie. I enjoyed the movie's main theme "If you cannot stop running, you should at least keep going,". This is something I liked a lot, and I might watch more movies like this. What is also funny is that a similar sentence is heard in this movie and it is up to the viewer whether they can provide it with the right meaning, making sense of it within the overall context. However, it is not difficult to do that because the movie does not have a complicated narrative and the narrative is certainly not particularly surprising. This movie is more like an unpretentious fairy tale that is fairly straightforward and predictable. It is just a pretty ordinary journey of (self) discovery, with a decent amount of Japanese mythology thrown in, mainly within the context of Shinto, and with a smaller amount of drama and emotional scenes. Does it work? Well, to be honest, only sometimes. Occasionally I was a little moved, sometimes I was intrigued, although most of the time, I just sat back and watched as the plot flowed along predictably without any strong reaction on my part. I certainly did not feel bored, although I cannot say that I remembered anything apart from the aforementioned "lesson about running" 6/10. ()
