East Side Kids

Police detective Pat O'Day (Leon Ames) is on a mission to keep a group of slum kids on the straight and narrow path. Danny Dolan (Harris Berger), one of the leaders of the gang, has a brother in prison for a murder he allegedly committed as part of a counterfeiting ring. O'Day knows Danny's brother is innocent and sets out to prove it. But when the well-meaning detective gets too close to uncovering the identity of the real killer, he is framed on a brutality charge and winds up being demoted to the lowly rank of uniformed patrolman. That doesn't stop O'Day, Danny, and friends from getting the goods on the true killer, but will the killer get the drop on them first?
