Un hombre joven y apuesto no ha podido superar la muerte de su mujer, fallecida en un accidente náutico. Ni la presencia de su hija adolescente propicia que el hombre tenga el mínimo interés por reconducir su vida, y se limita a salir de noche y esperar a que el espíritu de su mujer se le aparezca a la orilla del mar. In the mid-90s, topics began to be sought that would refresh classic romantic comedies. The supernatural was one way to achieve this refreshment. Emotions play a big role here, as everything is fatal. The night scenes are very tender, but overall, is not that great of an experience. Michelle Pfeiffer later made the slightly better supernatural film What Lies Beneath, as well as the alternative romantic comedy The Story of Us. This genre swallowed itself long ago.
