inglés Miloš Kopecký played the role of Harpagon with bravura, but the vast majority of the cast could barely keep up with him. My final impression was somewhat marred by the absence of spectators in the auditorium. Then there is the unpleasant phenomenon that in places where there would otherwise be laughter or applause, there is only awkward silence. (65%) ()

inglés "Scum! A poor and destitute lot. That's how they live when they have nothing." Miloš Kopecký is absolutely great as Harpagon. I haven't seen any other adaptation of this Molière yet, but I always imagined the main (non)hero exactly like this when reading it. Not an overly paranoid old man, but a man who can be energetic and such a wonderfully insidious, unpredictable choleric. In short, a character perfect for Kopecký. I'd give him five stars for his performance alone, but... Of course, that would mean that plenty of other things shouldn't bother me about the rest of the play. First of all, the sort of "crazy" concept of some scenes (especially the ending in the style of Lemonade Joe), which didn't fit in my view so well in Lakomec, and then the presence of Jaroslav Moučka, who I do not like, and in whose case I will never stop insisting that he should have only acted in Dalskabaty and Chalupáři, because he simply didn't fit in anywhere else.
