The problem with reading this movie is that almost no one notices that it's just a rehash of SF Fitzgerald's "The Great Gatsby" plot. That type of idea isn’t bad, and yet the result is accompanied by the same mistakes that were made before the war, when Ignát Herrmann, for example, moved to the present. This method rarely works.
