Blonde, bouncy Buffy (Kristy Swanson) is your typical high school cheerleader-- her goal is to "marry Christian Slater and die" and nothing gets in her way when it's time to shop. But all that changes when a strange man (Donald Sutherland) informs her she's been chosen by fate to kill vampires. With the help of a romantic rebel (Luke Perry), Buffy is soon spending school nights protecting L.A. from Lothos, the Vampire King (Rutger Hauer), his sidekick. Lefty (Paul Ruebens) and their determined gang of bloodsuckers. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)

inglés I know the series that is five years younger by heart and consider it the pinnacle of what can be caught not only in the waters of teenager or supernatural television. I also can't get enough of the spin-off with Angel, and for quite a few years now, I have been immersed in the comic continuations, solo projects, and crossovers of both mentioned characters. However, I must say that without this unclassifiable thing, I would not be able to say that I unconditionally love everything related to the Buffy brand. The mysterious vampire named Pike, the fateful birthmark, the eccentric madman Hauer, or the insane choreography of fights with practically no direct depiction of vampire killing form a mosaic of despair that would now function as a surprisingly funny parody of the phenomenon but at that time cruelly prevented the great idea from developing. The fact that director Fran Rubel Kuzui never returned to directing, I consider it a miracle - just like her becoming an integral part of the Whedonverse as a producer. ()
