Sinopsis(1)

Kate Miller es una joven norteamericana que comienza una nueva vida en la capital de una Cuba prerevolucionaria, donde su padre ha sido destinado por trabajo. Sus padres esperan que se integre en el selecto grupo de jóvenes norteamericanos del hotel en que se hospedan, pero ella se interesa más por Javier, un atractivo y orgulloso camarero del hotel que pasa las noches bailando en un club de la Habana. Con él Kate conocerá la otra Habana, aprenderá a bailar y descubrirá el verdadero sentido del amor, la sensualidad y la independencia. (Buena Vista International Spain)

inglés Without an unfortunately chosen name, there would be a few thousand fewer ratings here and a few percent more. In Havana, there are a lot of things going on, but as soon as it starts to be compared with the original, the impressions naturally go to completely different spheres. ()

inglés I really like the first part, even though we can't really talk much about the parts here. There is a nice romance here, but nothing new, the setting in a problematic time and place is good, but definitely not fully utilized in terms of music. The main couple is pleasant, but the dancer simply isn't as masculine as Swayze. Unfortunately, the story is too similar to the first one, and it comes across as quite boring. ()
