Rush reopens the 1975 case of a Caucasian girl who went missing and was presumed murdered after becoming best friends with an African-American girl, Cherise Tisdale (Gabby Soleil [1975], Judith Scott [2006]), in a predominately white town. The black residents had been the targets of racial hatred from the others, and initially a black man was suspected in the white girl's death. But the townspeople also turned against the white family for befriending Cherise, leading Rush and the team to new suspects. Ultimately, along with the truth comes a shocking revelation that no one expected. (Warner Bros. UK)
