A very effective thriller that stuck in my mind mainly due to its unusual story about the hunt for a mad terrorist and also because of the excellent performances. Aidan Quinn's character has a lot going for him, whether as a good guy going through rigorous and very hard training and then thrown into a ruthless criminal jungle, or as a bad guy who shoots even spiders on walls and blows up restaurants. Moreover, the story is adequately brisk, gritty, gripping, and suspenseful and doesn't bore for a moment, thus perfectly masking the shortcomings in the form of the visual effects and some holes in logic. For me, a decent 80%.
