Nam-woo lives in a seaside village with his widowed mother, his grandmother and his cat, Yo. Unfortunately, his grandmother is ailing, his cat constantly runs away, his mother spends most of her time with her new boyfriend, and, to top it all off, his best friend is moving to Seoul! Overwhelmed by feelings of abandonment, Nam-woo escapes into a fantastic dream world where he meets the mysterious Mari.
