Hačigacu no nureta suna

The summertime sun casts a shadow of uncertainty. When student protests of the 1968 movement were at an end, teenagers had lost motivation. One summer morning, Kiyoshi (Shosuke Hirose) rides his bike on the beach when Sanae is thrown out from a green convertible in her underwear. Later, Maki, Sanae's sister, falsely accuses Kiyoshi that he participated in her sister's rape. When Maki shoves him into a car with intentions to hand him over to the police, Kiyoshi finally snaps.
