Two young men who live in the inn of the country town, Dr. Szőnyi Viktor, the doctor, and Galambos György, the painter, propose to the two pretty daughters of the inn-keeper. Old Pötörke agrees on the condition that Viktor abandons his ambitions as a composer and devotes himself to his medical profession, and Gyuri abandons painting and starts up a business as a photographer. At the wedding ceremony, Gyuri's aunt promises to pay 100,000 pengoes to the couple whose first child is a boy. To Aunt Tóni's deepest regret, the son is born to Viktor and Gyuri has to content himself with a daughter. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
