Varga Kató fails to perform her part in front of the admission committee of the School of Dramatic Arts. Geszty, the severe president of the committee contends that she has no talent for acting and mercilessly tells her that she will never be an actress. Kató prepares to take revenge, and under the false name of Csiba Katyi, dressed up as a village peasant woman, gets admission into the house of Geszty. By turning everything upside down, she makes a hell of his life. Waking him up with loud singing, she chases away both his lovers, the young lady and the celebrated actress. Finally her identity is revealed, and Geszti is obliged to admit her talents for acting. Yet now she will not be an actress, but the wife of the actor. (texto oficial de la distribuidora)
