La emoción se desborda en este thriller de alta velocidad cuando Timothy Bottoms, un decidido terrorista, convierte los parques de atracciones de América en verdaderas pesadillas. La tensión aumenta cuando el inspector George Segal intenta seguir la pista del saboteador que ha atentado contra la montaña rusa más popular del país, y contra sus ocupantes, en su afán de destrucción sin sentido. Los nervios y la desesperación llegan a su punto álgido con el enfrentamiento de inteligencias entre Segal y Bottoms, provocando un ambiente absolutamente explosivo. Co-protagonizada por Richard Widmark y Henry Fonda, la película de Jennings Land lleva al espectador a través de un viaje inolvidable lleno de sensaciones de pánico y mucho vértigo..
