Western repleto de acción que tiene como protagonista a John Wayne como el Gran Jack McCandles, un hombre que no ha visto a su esposa (Maureen O’Hara) desde hace nueve años. A somewhat classic story from the end of Dukov's career. He is already an aging cowboy who somewhat passes the torch to others, younger ones. Here he meets his sons to fulfill a task for his former wife and seek revenge on a few people. It's an adventure where the father and sons bond, and the best moments are when the father clearly shows whose hand is stronger. John Wayne is simply great in the comedic role, but he still remains a tough guy and you simply believe him. I simply adore that man, even though the story itself is not a great Western peak.
