Un hombre abre los ojos para descubrir que está atrapado en un lugar oscuro, desconocido y aterrador que se asemeja a un túnel. Tal vez una pesadilla, tal vez algo peor: la realidad. Cuanto más intenta el hombre comprender el sentido de su presencia allí más cruel, más laberíntico y sádico se vuelve el cautiverio. Mas horribles los suplicios a que es sometido en cuerpo y mente. Cuando encuentra a otro como él en el túnel, una cierta esperanza se apodera de ambos. Dura poco: por el lugar corre agua teñida de sangre y pertenece a quienes estuvieron allí antes que ellos. Shinya Tsukamoto knew that in Haze, he would need more than just what is said in the synopsis. And so he added a very confined space from which a man could peek out and see all sorts of scary things. These images are not pretty, nor is the one he eventually stops at where he meets the woman. There finally awaits a resolution, but everything is in the spirit of gore and unpleasant visions with dead people.
