¿Te acuerdas de los monstruos? (S08E12)

I basically praised the previous episode, and now this happened... The finale of the eighth season, and actually the whole series, was terribly executed, and I am not a fan of happy endings, I don't mind more depressing conclusions at all, but this time it was really weird. I couldn't digest the terrible excuse of the creators who decided to punish all evil like in a typical Disney fairytale. I think a series that I have been watching for eight years deserved a more intricate ending. I haven't read the book version, but if Jeff Lindsay wrote it like this, my criticism falls on his head.
