Sinopsis(1)

inglés The attempt to present a minimalist story with a maximum of reality, like In the Bedroom, didn’t work out. Reservation Road is not the kind of film that can captivate with anything other than the fantastic performances. There is no subplot, there aren't as many emotions as needed, on the contrary, the whole thing feels quite cold, and except for a few really strong moments, it has nothing to offer. During the final scene, I couldn't help but feel awkward because, although Mark Ruffalo is good throughout the film and you believe his difficult decision-making and sweaty moments of improvisation – which I haven't seen for a long time, or rather, haven't experienced so tangibly – somehow at the end, he goes a little too far and overacts as much as possible. Without the actors, this film has nothing to offer, and that is definitely a shame given such a strong subject. ()
