inglés The Hollywood crowd can pull off some incredible stuff. They see that musical biopic dramas are successful, so they immediately create a parody of them. Just so they don’t get bored and the money keeps flowing. So this parody was created, and I have to admit it is quite a good one, as basically half of the Hollywood comedy actors of the time are a part of it… and it was written by Judd Apatow. In that case you simply can’t make a mistake. But I still have one objection. While some parodies, for example Hot Shots!, exaggerate and are also able to make fun of themselves, in this case the film really exaggerates really hard, which I would be able to tolerate, but they kinda lack in the not taking itself seriously department. inglés Lots of awkward, silly and unfunny attempts at humor from the barrel that I always look into with the greatest apprehension. On the other hand, I was pleasantly surprised by the successful songs (apart from the title song “Walk Hard", there was also the nonsensical "Dylan song", the performance of which was really funny), as well as unexpected moments of laughter here and there. However, what I enjoyed most of all was not the film, but the bonus materials on the DVD, especially the five separate music videos, including an absolutely brilliant cover version of Bowie's “Starman". I really recommend the bonuses. ()

inglés "Dewey Cox" is essentially a classic biographical film about a musician who started from nothing, reached the top, only to fall hard, lose everything, realize that family is the most important thing, and discover other values before returning to the guitar in the twilight of his life and playing his favorite style again, which is essentially folk rock. J. C. Reilly proves that he has good comedic potential, as well as showing more serious nuances, such as in "God of Carnage". The film does not deviate from the basic style of biographical music films, but tries to bring the story to life with humor, which is sometimes awkward, sometimes boring, but often genuinely funny. The most memorable moment is probably the machete severing, which may not be able to be properly stitched back together. The film features an incredible number of good and bad comedians, but is mainly a celebration of music and all its historical periods and great personalities, which were born to the sound of guitar riffs and in a cloud of marijuana smoke. This business is not always kind, beautiful, it is tough and you can hit rock bottom. But in life, you have to go hard - "Walk Hard". Judd Apatow proves that comedy is his craft and that jokes don't have to be repetitive, but can be innovative. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/05/kung-fu-dewey-cox-zkrocena-hora-12-opic.html ()
