Jotunheimen, Noruega. Ese es el espectacular paraje nevado elegido por un grupo de cinco jóvenes amigos para prácticar snowboard. Casi sin tiempo a saborear la diversión, al poco de iniciar el descenso, uno de ellos sufre una fractura múltiple en una pierna. La noche cae sobre el grupo y el coche está lejos. Por suerte, hay un refugio para esquiadores en las cercanías. Al entrar en el refugio quedan sorprendidos por su aspecto confortable. Quizás demasiado confortable considerando que el último registro data del 1975. Casi se diría que hay alguien viviendo en el sitio. Y, casualmente, el hacha del equipamiento de emergencia ha desaparecido. Aunque lo más probable es que eso no vaya a tener ninguna importancia.... (Filmin)

Probably the first slasher where I sympathised with all the characters, and that is appreciated! There’s also the attractive Norwegian setting and the excellent atmosphere. But despite those good things, the film is awfully predictable and the ending should have been different to fully satisfy me. Instead, it’s “only” a little over 70%.

You can't come up with anything new, so at least deliver it Norwegian frozen and run it through a rancid filter, which is quite addictive after a moment of resistance. In all seriousness, Uthaug manages to maintain a restrained decorum and a properly stiff atmosphere without enormous hysteria or unnecessary chatter. That's kind of how I like my slashers.
