While researching the legend of the Blood Countess, in the wilds of the Carpathian Mountains, three young Americans pick up an attractive stranger who will take them on the journey of their lives. A cheap variation on the story of Countess Bathory toying with her and her rival Count Thurzo's immortality. Director Jenő Hódi also produced the film and got Christopher Lambert as the main star, who had long since lost his shine. Still, for those interested, a film like this that combines mystery elements and a road movie for teenagers may be an interesting contribution to the Bathory theme.
