Sinopsis(1)

The story of Fisher Willow, a Memphis débutante daughter of a plantation owner with a distaste for narrow-minded people and a penchant for shocking and insulting those around her. After returning from studies overseas, Fisher falls in love with Jimmy, the down-and-out son of an alcoholic father and an insane mother who works at a store on her family's plantation. She tries to pass him off as an upper-class suitor to appease the spinster aunt who controls her family's fortune, but when she loses a diamond, it places their tenuous relationship in further jeopardy. inglés The effort to create an impressive drama is transparent from the first minutes, the upper-class atmosphere is possibly adorned with a little bit of violence, and everything here is good, but at the same time too shallow and non-offensive. I can see moments in the characters, but in the next moment they act according to an overly desired script. And the half-heartedness also applies to the ensemble cast. Bryce is giving it her all, but the script occasionally gives her the obviously exaggerated task of "lighting up the whole room," and similarly, Chris Evans manages certain things, but in purely dramatic roles, he sometimes shows slight stiffness. In short, a conflicted film in every aspect, and consequently, easily forgettable. ()
