The story is about two refugees, a fifteen year old Somalian boy (Ali) and a forty-year old Iranian man (Massoud) who after two years of waiting for a residence permit escape from the asylum camp. We follow them on the run through Sweden and the film also describes the relationship between the two characters and also their relations with Sweden and with the people they meet there. Even though the refugee topic is relevant in all of Europe, the film is not primarily a political comment, but instead a story about friendship and love. (Sonet Film)

Algo como la película The Ride de Svěrák, pero más carnal, frenética, sincera, abierta y emocional. Con actuaciones bellamente interpretadas por actores completamente dedicados a la causa. Hacía mucho tiempo que no veía el trabajo de cámara y el montaje tan fuertemente y tan precisamente conectados con los sentimientos de los personajes (muchos primeros planos de rostros). Esta película es una sorpresa muy agradable que no necesita pretender ser «de arte» y le habla al espectador en un lenguaje universal.
