Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. is an imaginative solution to the schematic theme of several newlyweds on their honeymoon together. We have a couple of older newlyweds for whom this is already their second experience, then there is one arranged marriage, one very idyllic marriage, and another refreshed by a chattering wife. Contrasting them is a very orderly traditional couple and the whole thing is rounded off by one marriage between friends. Together they undergo a plethora of small crises and successes and entertain us with a nice dose of witty dialogue, real problems, comic book action and last but not least, we get to experience a bit of "coming out" with them. Of the cast, I was most impressed with Raima Sen, opposite Aishwarya from Choker Bali: A Passion Play, a mature Shabana Azmi, Abhay Deol the teddy bear who started out in Didn't Think of It and is still quite cute, and Kay Kay Menon showed that he is capable of letting his hair down. :) This is the first time I noticed Boman, and it would have been better if it was the last time because at other times I noticeably miss the local image of "I'm cool and I was hot in the 1970s." ;) (14.10.2010)
