Basada en hechos reales, 'Hooligan' hace un repaso a tres décadas de la vida de Carlton Leach, el líder del más temido grupo de hinchas de fútbol de la historia. De hooligan a gangster, al frente de una de las bandas más peligrosas del crimen organizado en Londres a finales de los 80, consiguió destruir poco a poco a todos los que le rodearon y le quisieron, así como su propia vida.

Gritty, sometimes very realistic, but also quite annoying at times, which is a shame because otherwise, it could be quite a good story, albeit one that is dragged out. A simpler version of The Godfather in the British style, but unfortunately, there aren't characters that can keep you engaged and intrigued throughout. And two hours isn't exactly a short amount of time.
