Días peligrosos: Creando Blade Runner

Three and a half hours of the most fascinating documentary about film ever. That’s right, primarily you will learn absolutely everything, and when I write everything, I mean simply EVERYTHING there is to know about Blade Runner. But it goes into such depth that it can be taken as an amazing glimpse into the craft of filmmaking as a whole. Plus, everybody who speaks here have long since passed the stage when they feel they have to say “it was awesome and an honor to work with such and such". On the contrary the type of sincere confessions we hear are quite... exceptional. Initially I was worried that although it might be interesting, I would have to watch it in sections to be able to keep track. But I didn’t have to; it’s so incredibly absorbingly made that it flows by like water. This is more than just a DVD bonus. Dangerous Days is simply a work of art. I’m not exaggerating. (16.02.2008)

Dentro del género documental del «cine sobre el cine», Días peligrosos: Creando Blade Runner es un ejemplo soberbio de una aproximación muy bien estructurada, repleta de información y exhaustiva, por lo que no puedo dejar de darle una valoración completa. Para los fans de Blade Runner (o al menos de uno de sus tres cortes diferentes) tiene que ser una obra del todo imprescindible. Y para los que todavía no le han cogido el gusto a Blade Runner, es una ilustración útil del proceso de hacer una gran película y del papel fatal que juegan en él el dinero y la gente con dinero. Tres horas y media pasan como si nada y podría haberme quedado un rato más. (24.11.2018)
