Validation

So now you all can feel free to think of me as the biggest scrooge, that I am exactly the kind of person who should learn from such films, that I don't like anyone and no one likes me... But this is really horrible and terrible. If I met the main character of this almost unwatchable short, I would probably think: a) he is stoned and quite dangerous; b) he is crazy; c) he will want to borrow money or try to rob me; d) there is a hidden camera nearby; e) I am asleep and I am having a horribly stupid dream; f) I have to punch him in the teeth as soon as possible, otherwise he will punch me. Of course, I have nothing against naturally smiling people, but if there really is a community, or maybe I should say a sect, that brings together similarly insistent and embarrassingly flattering individuals who have made a resolution that everyone else simply MUST shine with happiness, no matter what their condition, I have all the more reason not to feel safe in the world.
