The Ark is a very melancholic animated short that really managed to catch my attention. The animation, the look of the characters, the soundtrack, the theme and the ending could all be described in two words: very depressing.

Dear fans of horror movies, you can have your bloody fantasies, protruding intestines, splattered brains, and other enticing images, but for me, the perfect embodiment of this genre is the short film The Ark. A concentrated symphony of creeping fear, hopelessness, and despair, the scariest and most perfect prison that actually exists and can only be escaped in one way. For me, The Ark is the ideal short animated film, an interesting concept that will entertain and thrill one's senses for a few minutes, never ceasing to entertain, and with several twists and an attractive visual design. Overall impression: 95%.

And I want a real-life actors version while Leonard Nimoy is still alive! The pure essence of depression, the outcome of which I do not consider at all pleasant or even relieving, but on the contrary, a depressing and forlorn confirmation of the unadulterated despair and depression.
